Cherry Tree Academy Celebrates Outstanding Attendance Achievement
Cherry Tree Academy is celebrating an exceptional achievement in pupil attendance, placing the school among the very best when compared with similar schools nationally.
Latest figures show that Cherry Tree Academy’s overall attendance stands at an impressive 95.7%, which is 2.9% higher than the median attendance of similar schools. The academy is one of only four schools with the highest overall attendance rates out of 21 comparable schools, meaning the vast majority of similar schools recorded lower attendance.
The academy has also been recognised for its success in tackling persistent absence. With a persistent absence rate of just 9.4%, Cherry Tree Academy is performing 15.6% better than the median for similar schools and is again one of only four schools with the lowest rates of persistent absence across the same group of schools.
