Staff Success: Jess Represents Yorkshire in County Championship Victory
We’re delighted to celebrate the achievements of one of our colleagues, Jess Taylor Roberts, HLTA at Churchfield, who enjoyed a fantastic sporting success over the weekend.
Jess, who is also Captain of Barnsley Rugby Club, represented Yorkshire in the County Championships on Saturday. Yorkshire delivered an outstanding performance, securing an impressive 37–5 victory over Surrey.
Playing in the number 9 position, Jess played a pivotal role in the team’s success, helping to lead Yorkshire to a memorable win. Her dedication, teamwork and leadership on the rugby field reflect many of the qualities she brings to her role in school every day.
The achievement was celebrated with pupils during assembly this week, inspiring children to pursue their passions, work hard and strive for success both in and beyond the classroom.
